Association of regional Tourist Guides of Slovenia –ARGOS-organized the first international tourist guide convention of the region Alps-Danube-Adriatic, shortly called ADA.
The conference was held in the heart of Julian Alps, National park Triglav. The beauties of this UNESCO region impressed the participants, who were very international and all interested in the collaboration.
At the conference we talked about, how to preserve nature paradises, about the position of a tourist guide in today’s Europe, how to improve our skills in order to be better tourist guides and how to meet the expectations of specific markets even better.
After three wonderful days of studies, networking, discussions and socialization, we left Bohinj with great impressions and many plans for our work together in the future.

We meet again in January 2020.
However till than we are going to meet also in Crete in November 2018, where is held a conference of European Tourist Guides and in Georgia in January 2019 where will be held a WFTGA world tourist guide convention.
